Offering a broad and insightful introduction into the art of our time, Contemporary, Cool and Collected provides the public with rare access to exceptional works of contemporary art held in private collections. Drawing from collections within a 360 mile radius of Charlotte, this exhibition illustrates that our region boasts a vibrant and growing collecting community. More than 20 individuals who live with and are passionate about contemporary art have generously made their treasures available to the Mint Museum of Art.

Third Annual Potters Market Invitational
The Third Annual Potters Market Invitational will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007 on the lawn of the Mint Museum of Art from 10am-4pm. Presented by the Delhom Service League as a fund-raiser for the Mint, this year’s market will showcase 40 potters from North Carolina’s most important pottery regions and traditions.
Tickets are $8 and ticket sales will begin on the day of the sale at 9:30am. There will be no advance ticket sales. The entry fee includes admission to the Mint (on the day of the sale only). Proceeds support the Mint’s decorative arts collection. Parking is free.
